In the past, I'd say Craig Morton. He lead the Broncos to their first Super Bowl appearance in 1977.
In the present, I do like Tom Brady. Reminds me, a lot, of a young Joe Montana both in attitude and ability. Smiles a lot, it seems, but rare you hear about his ego.
