Buy a ticket at Treviso airport for the ATVO bus. The bus times coincide with the flights. If you purchase a return ticket (andata e ritorno) you will be taken from the airport to Piazzalle Roma and from there you catch a vaopretto (water bus) to your accomodation. The airport transfer is approx 50 mins. When you purchase your ticket at the airport you will be given a time table which will tell you the time of your return bus ride from Piazzalle Roma back to Treviso. It's very simple really. I've done it several times.

Venice (Venezia) actually needs number introduction, see getting there with hotelbye . This city is a fabled location for centuries. Only the name Venice is enough to conjure up a host of pictures, also for many who have not even collection foot in Italy. From gondoliers in striped tops to the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, masked balls, wonderful barges, courtesans in gondolas and crumbling palaces experiencing roads made from water Venice is a fantastic city. Once the only real bridge over the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge marks the spot of the island's first settlement, named Rivus Altus and has become one of the lots of place that Venice needs to offer.

By train from Treviso station to Venice (Venezia Santa Lucia NOT Venezia Mestre). If you need the time schedule go to http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html (in English).

Unfortunately I do not know if there is a shuttle service from Treviso airport to the station. By cab it will cost approx 15 Euros. If they ask (much) more money it means they are probably cheating you!!!!

Have a nice trip...

Buy a second class ticket on the train to Santa Lucia station in Venice (approx. 35 minutes on the train). From the train station, steps lead down to a broad terrace alongside the Grand Canal, where you'll find the vaporetto landing and water taxis.

Hope that helps!
