Iron cobra double pedal on electronic drums?

Question

Im buying a yamaha dtxpress III electronic drums,and I was wondering can I use my Iron cobras on them.Im scared that the pedals will destroy the bass pad on electronic set,are the cobras too strong for the job?Or can I freely use them?

MY buddy has Vdrums and I think he might of had to modified them alil to work right
