They have a golden boot award for the leading scorer.... what about golden gloves for least amount of goals let in?

to Richard who answered first- I see what you're saying but then what about all the set ups that strikers get? Often somone else does all the work and the striker simply can't miss- think you are over complicating things

Because its not usually just the gk's who result inclean sheets. More often than not the defenders are the main blaming point.

Any time a striker is "one on one" with the keeper, the striker should score. Its the defence that are important.

Probably not the least amount of goals conceded, but the most saves made. This may be slightly tougher to calculate, but would be the most accurate.

Nice suggesstion though.

Yes, and it should go to Artur Boruc (Celtic) for last nights game against Man Utd - especially saving Saha's penalty.
