"Since the time of Ben Gurion, the behavior of the Israeli regime has been Jekyll and Hyde. In the 1950s, its intelligence service, the Mossad, had agents in Egypt blow up U.S. installations to make it appear the work of Cairo, to destroy U.S. relations with the new Nasser government. During the Six Day War, Israel ordered repeated attacks on the undefended USS Liberty that killed 34 American sailors and wounded 171 and included the machine-gunning of life rafts. This massacre was neither investigated nor punished by the U.S. government in an act of national cravenness".Patrick J. Buchanan.
On July 22, 1946, Menachem Begin ordered the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. The bombing was an attack against the British government who controlled Palestine and was carried out by members of Irgun — considered a terrorist organization by the British . The hotel was the headquarters for the British Secretariat and a base for the military command. Almost 100 ppl killed.

No they could't preserve us a hundred%. that's impossible. We as people, our close by and state governments have some duty for our risk-free practices too. i've got confidence the sole reason we've not been attacked yet is with the aid of the fact the terrorists are busy blowing up Iraq. ought to the libs get their way and our troops pull out of Iraq greater valuable start up gazing for yet another attack. same is going for the '08 election. If we get some fool in there who thinks we are in a position to "start up a communication with the terrorists", we are in extreme hardship.

Yes I knew all of that, those incidents were fifty years ago...I've gotten over it.

I do not approve of my government's unquestioning support of any country. I think the fact that the US is unable to even abstain from UN resolutions condemning Israel's recent actions is horrific. If Israel is such a great "friend" of the USA, would questioning their actions be so devastating to the relationship?

To understand the issue fully one must look at the percentage of Jewish congress members and the contributions of the AIPAC to nearly every member of congress...money talks.

Why is it that a Muslim politician's religion and allegence can be questioned. Yet one can not question a Jewish politician, in fear of being labeled a racist?
