Tendulkar - Indian batsman. Bradman once mentioned to her wife: "This boy plays like me."

Well...I can remember what Ian Chappel said in an interview...If someone point a gun on my head and ask to chose lara or sachin then i will definitely go on say it is lara but for me i will not risk until someone point a gun on my head. To score a record breaking score once and then do that again after 10 years is something very special and no batsman had done this so far and doing that in years to come seems bleak in the meantime the way he equaled the record is by hitting a SIX followed by a FOUR which is something Sachin will never chose to do in a special moment like this. No doubt sachin is a great batsman but he does choke in crucial parts of the innings where he open the batting with no pressure on but in the case of Lara he has scored all these runs coming in the middle order which is significant ability to carry the pressure and that special character makes him best and better batman in the world. Even Sachin will agree that Lara is one step ahead of him however there is another man who has not scored big runs yet but for sure he'll end up with most centuries and leading run scorer when he done with test arena...Ricy Ponting with 31 centuries in 105 matches comparing to the 34 (129 Matches) of Lara & 35 (132 matches) of Sachin

I am sorry to dissapoint you coz i think u expected everyone to say Sachin...

Make no mistake Tendulkar is a world class batsman. But Lara will get my vote.

Lara is the best but not media friendly and he doesnt know how to have "Friends" everywhere
so he is not as popular as Tendulkar.

Hey i think it is Mr. BRIAN LARA who is dominating this test cricket.in today's newspaper there was a report that in last few years sachin has hit only 5 centuries wheras lara has hit 21 centuries.so friend now don't you think lara is dominating today.
