I do not think it will be a white wash. It is going to be a tough series.

Yes the bulldog spirit ,the right mental attitude does seem to be lacking in England's cricketers. It will be interesting to see where the good performances come from. The biggest burden will be on Flintoff to deliver with bat, ball and as skipper-a big ask .Australia will be more ruthless this time round. They are still smarting from the defeat last year.,and will hit the ground running.
So the first Test will be key. If England lose heavily, yes,it could very easily be a whitewash.

I'm not saying that the Aussies aren't a great side they are, but it's the age of the team that concerns me , where are the Young Players?. Surely it's time the Aussie's started blooding the youngsters, other wise in 2-3 years the Aussie side will be the laughing stock of World Cricket. Unlike some of the Biggots who have posted answers here, all I say is may the best side win.

whatever one may say and one may try to think and hope as an english fan, I am more than convinced that it will be totally whitewash. As a cricket fan I only hope against all hopes that the matches not be over in 3-4 days. This present english side has no players of equal caliber to match with that of australia.

aussies to win 5-0. vaughan is out. he made three hundreds on last tour, scored 600 runs. trescothick is out, he is a top batsmen. simon jones out. freddie being captain is an issue. and the fact that the auusies have glenn mcgrath back. last series aussies lost only two tests mcgrath missed, the 2nd and 4th tests. aussies havent lost a home series since 1988. say it again 1988.

England will win the series no sweat.
Harmison is fine and he will thrive in aussie pitch conditions more than in England.....remember in the w.indies a few years back? 7-46
