I did a primary PGCE at the UEA, I found the interview to be a bit of a non-event, it only lasted around 25 mins. They asked me about my opinion on a current educational event- check out the TES for information and form a few opinions on current topics before you go in. There was a local head in my interview as well, and she asked me about how I would have reacted a a dilemma that she had faced in their school- in this case persuading parents that their son was a great dancer and should be allowed to go to ballet classes, I answered and she said that was exactly what they had done and it worked! I passed the PGCE with flying colours but still can't get a job!
Hope that helps.
Good luck

Get some adventure in a college in case you may in the 300 and sixty 5 days communities you have chose to coach. in case you have already performed that point out that for the duration of the interview. additionally examine up on the national Curriculum, the DFES internet site and any appropiate stuff for trainee instructors (see the teachernet internet site - i'm basically a lowly help assistant besides the undeniable fact that it enables me too). stable success, tell them why you have chose to coach and why you have chose to coach historic previous. And be confident (whoops - grammar errors!). desire you get it.
