Does anybody know of any statisitcs or where statistics could be obtained, regarding viewing figures (UK or worldwide) for the 2003 cricket world cup; or predicted figures for the 2007 cricket world cup?

Well, an estimated 2 billion viewers tuned into the 2003 cricket world cup. This includes the entire championship. Compare that to the FIFA world cup final, where a single day viewership stood at 1.35 billion.
