Come over in the summer. We got lots of them here. My kids will have a jar, I'll have another beer.
My cousins used to rip their bottoms off and put them on their fingers like rings. I couldn't bear to do that. I just caught them, put them in a jar for a while, and released them.

I never did until four years ago; there weren't fireflies where I grew up. But I went to North Carolina for a week in 2002 and caught a ton of them! It was really fun....

Oh thank you for bringing back nice memories. No. Not now, not anymore. Not too many fireflies in Sydney to catch anyway.

Fireflies are awesome. I love to see them each year. Where we live, there are tons of them. They light the woods behind my house and sometimes it looks like there are fireworks going on in the distance.

Yes, with my kids. And as a kids I loved to catch them and make wishes on them and now I catch them with my kids. Good Luck!!!!!

Yes everytime we go to N.C. I try. Those are so beautiful. I didn't grow up with them so the 1st time I saw them I was 20. I could sit on the porch and watch them for days :)

My grandmother used to pull off the yellow light and put in on my finger as a ring when i was young.
