After graduating take a break for a while and do something totally different like travelling to another country and experiencing a new culture. Do something where you and your dreams and passions and beliefs are challenged and you'll soon find your heart. If it is not law see it as an interesting experience and some gathered knowledge, but move on and seek your dreams. Life is a journey. enjoy the ride....

What are you interested in? Maybe you can find a way of incorporating the two. I liked handling bankruptcy files at a bank I worked for and eventually went to school to become a paralegal. I then went to work in a bankruptcy attorney's office. The sky is the limit...become an advocate for the elderly, children, indigent or become a sports agents. Maybe something that is not a tyical job for an attorney. Complete school and take the bar. Try something else for a while...something that you may do as a hobby...You may decide after a break from it that you would still like a career in law. At any rate, you have not wasted the time. You will always have the education. Best wishes and Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, disappointment is part and parcel of life. That's the first thing you need to accept. We all have disappointments. Just be glad you have actually finished it - and not given up half way through. At least you have something to show for your studies.

Secondly, you don't have to practice Law just because you studied it.

Having a degree in Law will help you get a job in many industries.

Find out what you are really interested in, and having a degree in Law will give you a massive advantage over other applicants if you go for a job in your field of interest.

All the best!

THe word is wasted. Nothing is ever wasted. You have learned so much. Whether you go into law or not you will have learned so much about law, people , yourself etc in the last few years. Now if you want you can learn about disappointment. But what will you do. Maybe you will lose interest in the next thing. Actually you have not lost interest. You have outgrown it.
Well done.

so you're afraid to take the test now? that you know it may take you a few times trying to pass that test, and you feel your time studying for that will be wasted? Let me say that a lot of very good jobs come from the good income you will make as being an attorney. Whether you are interested in it any longer or not that doesn't matter. You started it, put into it your good money (or loans that you realize you will have to pay for for many years to come) so now finish it. If you back down now you will always be considered a quitter...and you are so close to the goal...Take that studying one step at a time. It means your future.

FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE IN YOUR LIFE. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO WAY HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO GET RID OF DISAPPOINTMENT. BE HAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT YOU WERE SMART ENOUGH TO DO THAT MANY YEARS OF SCHOOL. THE BEST THING I CAN SUGGEST IS TO MAYBE TAKE A HIATUS FROM LAW AND DO SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO. TAKE A COUPLE OF MONTHS OFF, BUT MAKE SURE TO GO BACK TO LAW AND GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE. BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR STUDIES AND CAREER.

just because your degree will be in law, that doesnt mean that you have to work in the law field. you have a degree, you will be able to get a lot of jobs. my degree is in education and my last 2 jobs have been foster care and corrections. now-a-days you just need a piece of paper to say you went to school. that is all many employers care about, that piece of paper. stay strong and find something you like doing...you will be fine

Find someone who really needs legal advice and help them for free. Stay in touch with their situation until it reaches a conclusion. This might rekindle your fire for litigation.
