i find it wierd that i lose 5 points and get 3 of em back even if i dont pick a best answer...whos yahoo fooling?
is it so that people dont ask too many questions from 1 single account?but u get it back in a couple of hours...damn im jobless

I get so many -12 violations in a day it amazes me I net any gain--
just answering questions...
Someone asked for an opinion on a joke.
And I said it was too long.
Violation: not a question or an answer.
Another asked whether killing animals was wrong
I said not exactly.
Violation: Bodily harm
How will the NSA know who the terrorists are if they keep deleting my answers???

I had the same problem..but don't worry, you're not the worst. I got penalised by yahoo!answers for nothing and got deducted 45 points altogether and I don't know what happen as well.
