Slavery wasn't any less of a holocaust.A double standard clearly exists.Maybe because it is a lot easier to hate a person, a symbol of evil, than a whole era

Hold up buzzcut!My family were indentured servants during that time period so we were not owners we were workers.Don't accuse a full race for a few people.When you read your history you will understand this more but todays education does not focus on that portion of the slave issue and the interpretation is one sided.The issue of slavery is past we are embarking on a new road and must go forth to build a better country and nation for all people.
The comparison to Hitler is not even in the same thought.If it is it is by someone that has a fantasy of his power.
As a person of native American heritage I do know of the wrong that was done to people.So to make this sort of statement you have made just made you a raciest .No different than who you were talking about.

They are cast in a positive light becuase they got to write the history books. Hitler was defeated and thus when down in history as the bad guy. Remeber the winner always writes history...whether you like the message or not.

I'd have to know who killed your ancestors to say if I'm proud of them or not...but in general, from the tone of the question, I'd have to say not enough of them were killed because you still got produced somehow.
