if you are from Africa but being black doesn't necessarily follow as some whites are African too. I would then call myself black Chinese or if I were a humorist maybe chigro. anyhow the point being nationality and race are sometimes two different things.not that this applies in your case as I don't have sufficient info. also if you are African and married Chinese your children would indisputably be Afro-Chinese racially and not just by country.so their is sometimes a fine line of difference between ethnic by country and ethnic by racial and ethnic by religion or even tribe .
I would say i was of italian or irish hungarian descent but italians would take exception and i've never been out of the US so I just settle for American as I was born here and like the native american association although I'm officially caucasion which ignores my anscestry. mostly I really prefer the seldom used claim of earthling which includes everybody so far!
peaceout and enjoy the life!

Living in China does not make you a Chinese. I think if you change your citizenship (and I don't know what else), then you'd be Chinese. Yeah, I guess that is the term for it now? Afro-Chinese?
: )
I'm living in Germany (because of work) now and been here 3.5 years but I'm not German. (I'm in the US Air Force, my mom is Japanese, dad was Filipino, married to a Colombian, and have two kids. One was born in Republic of Panama, the other in Oklahoma -- so what are they going to be called? Japanese-Filipino-Colombian-Panamanian American??? Lol...) And that's not considering everywhere they've lived (only races they have in their blood...)
