I don't see what one has got to do with the other, you can be a good person with religion or without religion, just as you can be a bad person with religion or without religion.
I know plenty of atheist that are really good people. So I don't see the relevance in your question aimed at just the girls!!!

Absolutely not. I don't know where we got this ridiculous idea that morality equals religion. Now, you can be religious, and that's fine, and live by that morality. But a lot of people seem to think that if you don't live religiously, then you must not live by any rules in your life- and that's just not true.
Look at what happened when evolution was first proposed as a theory, long before people started saying both evolution and the Bible could be correct- people feared that it invalidated the truth of the Bible (and hence all religion), and that now, without the fear of God's wrath and hope for His rewards, we would all start the descent into hell- murder, sex, drugs, theft, whatever, because we would be completely without morals.
You can definitely be a good, moral person without religion, or with it. It is having some sort of internal morality (whether you know it explicitly or not) that even lets you make statements like 'good person' (what is a good person? what makes a person good or bad?).

I'd say the opposite. As an atheist, it seems to me that religion is a crutch used by those who have trouble understanding the difference between right and wrong; I don't understand the need to have someone else define right and wrong, particularly when so many people follow religion blindly without trying to understand it or question it. The only exception, IMO, is Buddhism, which is more about questioning and trying to help others. But for the most part, religion is used as an excuse to hate and discriminate, so I wouldn't get involved with anyone who identified as a member of a major faith, particularly Christians.

I think religion is just one part of someone. I usually don't care, as long as you aren't forcing your beliefs on people or saying you should be this way or that way with someone else. Also, if you are active in your religion let someone know, before you get really serious about them and then realize, well before we get married you have to convert to this or that. Well how come you didn't mention it sooner? That would tick me off. I believe in finding your religion again if you weren't really into it when you were young but are now as you are older, but be real about it, don't just say your Christian or something to pick me up if you think I'm a Christian girl or something. Be real about it, own it like who you are not something you picked up to meet women.

Yes, Jesus is very important to me. I've seen a lot of "good" people do things that I do not consider good and yet I've seen a lot of "bad" people who do good - but for the wrong reason. Religion is not about being "good" ... it is about a belief in a higher power.

No, religion is meant to give you something to believe in, to help you to try to become a better person.
Not to control.

"Good" is subjective... I'm sure I'm "good" in the eyes of my friends, family, etc. My religion, or in MY case, lack thereof (atheist) has no bearing on whether I'm considered "good" or not. Maybe to religious zealots, but not to me. I pride myself in being open-minded, thank you.
