Precious Lord,we come to you on this day to thank you now & always for the sacrifice you made for us on the cross,& for the blessings we are still granted today .
Thankyou for all those we know & let us be a blessing to everyone we meet in this life.
Let the hungry always be fed ,the homeless be granted shelter,& the abused shown mercy, all over the world.
Most of all,let those who do not know you, come to know you & accept your love & law,so that they may be saved from a life without hope.In your precious name we ask these things,Amen!

At our Thanksgiving get-together, the elder always says the prayer. We usually ad lib thanking God for another year (we always thank Him daily), the highs and the lows, the fact that we are still here and in the company of loved ones. May you and yours have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

If you can't think of anything to be thankful for, you're in deep trouble. How about life, family, food, love, Jesus, a home, shoes for your feet, a place to sleep, good friends?
