Yes, I sincerely do. If you've been surrounded with violence for long periods of time, a person will be changed. Our external environment plays a large part in the molding of our being.

If one has a strong sense of faith in God, those situations one has encountered during the war can be used by HIM not only for the molding of his/her characteristics but for the benefit of others as well who are going through the same thing.

A great thing will come out of it instead of the bad.

Well, look at it this way...if you saw what they did Downrange, don't you think you would change as well? You don't do/see the things they do and remain the same person...

And if you are asking if they can be changed back to what they were prior to Deployment...the answer is a loud NO!
