Im wondering if there will soon be a NFL team in the LA area. If so, would that be an existing team froma different city or just add a whole new team altogether. Whats it gonna friggin take? Its been more than a decade!

Teams currently seeming to have stadium issues always will use a place like Los Angeles as ransom for their current locations to ante up. Seems to me that makes the list of potential LA: Buffalo, Indy, Kansas City, Minnesota, New Orleans, Oakland, San Diego and San Francisco.

Of this group...odds are KC will get something done for the Chiefs; Vikings, were they to move, seems to be looking more like San Antonio; and the Saints, were they to move, likely to stay somewhere on the Gulf Coast.

Bills does have another suitor just north of the 49th in Toronto. Colts have also been mentioned with Toronto as possible, as well. Admittedly, Toronto is a large market of 5 million-ish, but the flux of currency values make it not too inviting at the moment.

49ers, it seem, are now heading to Santa Clara. Not sure if this deal is done, but I suspect they will stay somewhere in the bay area.

Raiders...well, it is Al Davis, and they could end up in Honolulu, Bakersfield, or any of the towns named Springfield yet.

Chargers do strike me as the most likely. They have stadium issues to the point where they need a new stadium if they want more Super Bowls played in the area.

If I were a betting man, I would say we could see two teams in LA. Most likely the Chargers or Raiders from the AFC, along with an expansion NFC team.

None of the current NFL teams would "land" in Los Angeles because there is no reason to fly there, being that there is no NFL team in Los Angeles to play

Expansion team is more than likely what will end up in L.A. If they get a team at all. Truth is that no team wants to go to L.A and play in the Coliseum, yeah teams have stadium issues but L.A lost both its teams due to stadium issues and any package to get a team would have to include a state of the art stadium, and lets just face it L.A isnt going to build a stadium.
