Mediocrity is being less than what you truly can strive to be. It is taking the path of least resistance, not excelling to your great potential, and settling for the mere average, rather than mobilizing every cell in your being to apprehend with gusto that which is impeccable, incredible, capturing and seizing with great exhilarating satisfaction that dazzling golden ring of life. There is no exhilarating satisfaction in mediocrity, only gnawing wonder eating away at you and haunting your mind with the words, "If only I had tried. If only I had done better. What could have been, instead?"
