I have to do a small French Oral presentation for yr 8 French...Our teacher gave everyone a name of a French sport, place or person...I was given Jean-Michael Jarre. I can not seem to find anything about him. All I know is that he isn't supposed to be exactly to modern acording to what my teacher says. I have found stacks of information about Jean-Michel Jarre yet he doesn't seem to fit the description. However with Jean-Michael Jarre all I can find are some auction sites selling his songs on album. I only have a couple hours to do it in...What should I do? The spelling is from my Course Book so I doubt it is that...Help! Thanks!

Jean Michel [not Michael] is the son of Maurice Jarre. While Maurice is known for more laid back New Age "ambient" music, Jean Michel is known for more upbeat dance New Age. He has been composing for many years and just released an album a year or so ago that was recorded instead of in just regular stereo, he used Dolby 5.1 Surround. For some old interview footage, search for him on youtube.com.
