I do

It's a real cute idea!!! Fortunately no government has the power to ban anything someone can think...And if you can think it, you can say it! And that's a beautiful thing I don't care how vile the word is (Like The "N" word) I don't say it, I don't want to hear it...But I would NEVER try to take someones right to say it away..
(Do you know how many rappers would go broke if your idea to ban that word ever came to be???) Try thinking of someone besides yourself...Like 50 Cent or Jay Z!! Without that word they're stuck pumping gas for a living.

I don't

The Freedom of speech is integral to our society, and regardless of its uses whether for love or hate or in between ALL speech should be protected.

The way of life in america is not ala carte, we cant just pick and choose what we want to be prtoected under our bill of rights.

Now that being said, should someone be punished for using a word in a derogatory manner, yes. But that person should be free to decide whether to take that chance or not.

You ban the so called "n-word", whats next? What else do YOU not like that we should wipe out of society?

I can't stand the word flambe, but you know what, I got to live with that. I can still respect a person's choice to say that particular "f-word", but it is up to them to understand that if they utter "flambe" i'm not gonna be their friend anymore!

no, you can't band a word. thats stupid. for one, the usa has free speech, which protects the dumb and the smart. and thats really giving the word too much power. I get by without saying it, but not because its banned. I think that would make kids whisper it that much more. and who would regulate that? the same people who regulate it now, people who are not racist.

No, I like freedom of speech better. You can call me a cracker if you want. I won't punch you like some ****** might for saying similar because I don't use force except in direct self defense, unlike them, who try to make a lifestyle of it.

no this country was not founded on censorship and those who died for freedom should not be insulted . let people grow up ...
Even children know better than that (e.g.) sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me ... some need to go back and get their GED for childhood. besides words are never nearly as bad as those that can't handle them.
peaceout

the US cant band a word, i think.
we just have to know that **** er is one of the most vile, profane words created. it's so wrong that anybody would say it to anyone, even in rap songs.
that comedian dude who was crying out **** er is just undefineable like other racists.

Nah, I think we should just impose a shrewd policy of "citizen beatdownship" upon any and all offenders who use it in a derogatory way. This way, racist assholes get the everloving crap kicked out of them, and people that are looking to test out their knuckles can do so without fear of legal repurcussions. Everbody wins!
