I hadn't even heard of it before now, but I've done a little research.
Below are a couple of links that might help you out.
It's being filmed in a rainforest so I would say it is in QLD as they have the best jungle conditions.
It should be a laugh, the Australian Celebrity Survivor was.

Try downloading 'Google Earth' and see if you can track down jungle in Australia.
I can't imagine theres an awful lot of it!
