Oh, Sadia. I understand. I went a week over with my daughter and I was ready to jump hurdles or waterski or WHATEVER to get her out of my body!! Then my doctor told me that there is no solid cure for pregnancy except for time. The baby can't stay in there forever, until you have to start charging it rent. IT WILL COME OUT and it will come out soon, and you will never remember anything except holding the baby and looking into its little face. Believe me, please. Good luck to both of you.

Your baby is not ready to be born. 40 weeks isn't just a recommendation. It gives your child proper time to develop. When it's time, the baby will come out on it's own.

I know you want to hold him/her now, but wouldn't you rather be holding it, perfectly healthy and fully developed? Being born at 37 weeks jeopardizes that.

Sex, and nipple stimulation. It can help bring on contractions. But really, it is all about nature. That baby is not coming out until it is good and ready, and you are just going to have to wait. Try to get extra rest and stay mellow. It will be over with so soon, and the prize for your patience is AWESOME! Good luck!

That's insane talk. Why would you jeopardize your baby by your selfish desire to give birth now? It's better for the baby... NOT for the mom... to be born at full term.

Are you even going to a doctor for care, why not ask him what to do and explain how you are feeling? It sounds to me like you need better communication with your doctor. Don't feel bad about this, doctors are busy and don't give as much advice and counsel as they used to.

Anyway, your baby will come very soon and you may hold him soon... and I hope you will be a good mom but heavens, have some patience!

You can try sex. It worked for me. But also a bit of walking and exercise may help things along. DO NOT try castor oil- it will make you ill and poses risks of dehydration and can hurt the baby. Good luck and best wishes to the little baby in there. :)

Oh wow! The most healthy way to deliver you baby is wait until your baby is ready, the shorter time in the womb the worse chance your child has. You can do it Mom! Your baby will let you know!!!

If you can face it... shag your heart out. The prostagladins in semen help ripen your cerivix and the contractions of orgasm help get yoru uterus used to contracting.

But sweety, nothing is going to effectively bring your labour on at 37 weeks. I know you must be soooo uncomfortable.. but just hang in there.

First of all are you having a good pregnancy and not on bedrest. Then put on your walking shoes and go for a walk. thats if you doctor says it okay to walk. that is how i had my first child i went wal-mart and walked every aisle then the next day i was ready to deliver

Relax... your baby will come out eventually. If you are too nervous, your baby will sense it. Let nature takes its course.Or do you want to choose operation? Then you can choose the delivery of your baby....
