Can I send a package in a USPS priority box with regular .39 cent stamps as postage?

It is the box that has "Priority Mail" all over it. Can I just put the appropriate number of .39 stamps on it for sending priority mail and drop it in a box?

Thanks

<>Yes, you can, but if you don't have enough postage, it won't get mailed. It's smarter to take it in and mail it unless you have a scale and know the rates.

Yes, you can put stamps on it. I'm not sure you can put it in a mailbox, though. I think that Priority Mail might have to be mailed from the post office. Check the website or call the post office to make sure. You'd want to do that anyway, because, if you're using Priority Mail, you don't want to wait for the collectors to get it out of the box.
