this is agreat question one that i am utterly not qualified to answer so here we go!!
this depends on a few things #!. do you really need money and food or did you drive to this street corner with your sign #2 have you been there a long time you may be gettting hungry or thirsty (no one will believe you are a bum if you bring a frappacino with you) and finally #3. what kind of person is giving you the food or drink under thirty you T & T (take it and toss it) over thirty you are probably safe!!

I have never had the unfortunate need to do this, but I figure it would be bad enough to beg for money, by far a lower place to beg for food. Hope I never have to be in that position as I always feel sorry for those who are.
