A salvage title means that it has been junked before . So if you buy a car that has that... Know up front your getting a car that the Insurance Company totaled out . Why buy one ...It's cheaper to buy ....Maybe someone got it and fixed the problems ....It is usually body damaged and frame work . Just make sure you check it out real good before buying one with a salvage title on it .

it really is a tremendous deal, because your automobile will be worth a strategies less than if it had a commonly used identify. It exhibits the automobile has been in an twist of destiny or has had some form of previous damage. the fellow who finally buys your care will (a million) be conscious himself that the salvage identify lowers its value and (2) should be afraid for his own safe practices because of the previous damage. imagine someone were identifying to purchase the automobile for his or her son or daughter. That being suggested, you are able to in certain situations locate very much at the same time as identifying to purchase a "builder," or a salvage identify automobile, and it may ward off your self an excellent type of money. NOW: i ought to need to understand who the stupid fool is who positioned a thumbs down in this.

I bought one. Salvage is when an insurance company 'totals' a car, due to damage or theft. They can be great, or a real lemon like any used car. Keep in mind if it's recently totalled it will need a brake and light inspection and new plates (California at least). May the buyer beware!

No, never buy a car that has a salvaged title.
It meant hte car went through some sort of disaster that it had its title changed. Think of it as "salvation army" selling clothes.
Even if you decide to buy, your insurance will be way higher, you will have difficulty getting a loan for a salvaged title.

salvage DOES NOT necessarily mean the frame is bent!! it means the car is legal and for sale as salvage or good just for some parts,, it could have been flooded so the interior is shot and the motor needs overhaul,, the back end may have been smashed in but the front, motor and interior are still good etc!! you buy these ONLY for parts,, either to resell or to fix another like it!!!

It means that the car was in a major accident and "Totalled" by the insurance company.
Potential problems:
Your insurance will be higher.
There may be underlying problems (such as weaknesses in the frame) which can't be fixed/diagnosed.
You may have trouble registering it with the DMV.
