can I put it in the washing machine on the delicates wash will it shrink or fall apart??

foam depends on whether is the hard or soft kind. If hard kind, better not if not washing machine spoilt. if soft, then can put into washing machine wash but do not spin. otherwise, will have cracks after 3 times of wash. then put under hot sun to dry. now rainy days. so good to leave it near open air window where it is more windy to dry it and to get rid of dust mites.

Hand wash it with a mild laundry detergent like wool wash and warm water. Rinse very well. Wring out by hand, by rolling it and compressing it. Leave to dry outside in the sun.

I would put it in the bathtub, use warm water and any liquid soap - just a little or it will stay in. If there are urine odors, use vinegar. It also kills mold & mildew. Squeeze it dry, then use a beach towel to further dry it. Put it outside or somewhere it can dry thoroughly. Good luck!

shouldn't fall apart, but washing it in the shower by hand might be easier.
