I watch the news and nothing bad ever seems to come up. Take the US for example, everyday someone's *** is in the flames about something, but not Canada. Why?

LOL - I think it's because many times US News folk forget we're up here! Also, because like someone else said, Canada doesn't really matter to the States, unfortunately, so your guys don't say much about us either way...

Also, because CANADA ROCKS!!! It kicks butt (well, small-ish butts anyway!).

Because Canada, like australia, UK, France, etc, has a stable political and social base, and therefore a much lower crime rate and so, while they do occasionly make the news, the amount of news made crackpots and lunatics from other countries usually supercedes it quickly.

We're not in the news much because the country has always been fairly well governed and because Canada is small enough not to get itself into unwise situations. q.v., Iraq

Because our news focuses on things that are relevant to us. Canada is simply no longer that important.
