What happened to RESPECT for the office? What kind of message is being sent out to the rest of the world? What happened to patriotism? What is happening to Americans?

its not ok -its extremely rude and the sort of thing thats unacceptable in the business and politcal world regardless of whether you agree with him or not.

I spent 8 years wondering that about President Clinton, the repuke's that I know was downright disrespectful to him. He was at least competent with the job and that is more then I can say for the appointed one.

Democracy includes the right to criticize your own country, its offices, and the people who hold them. The system that requires undying loyalty to the state and its leaders is called fascism.

I guess that is what makes this country wonderful--is the fact that we have the freedom to make such remarks about the president.
However, I agree with you wholeheartedly, and always wondered myself what type of message it sent to other countries.
I find it ironic that I can ridicule the person with the highest authority in this country and it is acceptable. But if I called my boss a jerk (which she is) I would lose my job.
