I wonder if the "rude people" are going to apologize to the other paying customers they disturbed during the show.

In a climate of political correctness, Michael Richards should have been the bigger person by not retaliating with such ignorant racist comments. He knows that he's been forever typecasted as Cosmo Kramer and that he would perhaps get heckled about it. That aside, I think that he needs to make a public apology that doesn't include as introduction from Jerry Seinfeld.

I think he should have just went about his business and said nothing. Comedians get heckled all the time. I think they probably hit a nerve, however, and he just overreacted. People can say some pretty mean things when they are angry, and I try not to judge them for it. I don't know if I think he is racist. He may have just been so angry that those nasty words came out of his mouth. A lot of people say that if you say something like that, it comes from the heart. I don't necessarily agree. He may have said it because he was so angry, wanted to hurt them back, and knew those words would be the most effective. Or maybe he used them without thinking about their meaning. I'm not defending him. He made a mistake. I just don't think people should dwell on it so much. He looked pretty broken up about it on Letterman, and Jerry Seinfeld seemed to think he was being genuine. I would also like to know why it was okay for them to call him a f**king cracker.

They deserved to be escorted out of the building for disrupting the show. I think it's unfortunate he didn't have the experience at stand up comedy to calmly make mince meat of them as many comedians could have to the point they would regret opening there mouths. I think those that get away with ethnic humor are usually more clear about it and make equal fun of everyone to pull it off without being personally offensive to any group.

I don't think that he should have said the things he said, but they definitely deserved to be treated the same way they treated Michael. They were extremely rude, offensive, and cruel.
I don't think that he's racist, I just think he lost it. I feel so bad because of what happened, but I support him 100%.

Yes they did get what they deserved because if they were going to give him such a hard time they should have never gone to the show!

I thought it was rude that they said it out loud. Richards over-reacted with the racist remarks though. He could have said something else.

I see your point, but two wrongs don't make a right.
