Just the name, basically the features are almost the same, don't worry about it, It's only that Apple has made the ipod smaller than others compared with weight and capacity for music

iPod is the name brand. It's still an MP3 player. It's like the difference between Levis & jeans. I like Creative Zen better than iPod. Personal preference I guess.
