Unfortunately, the best hurting songs are country. I only discovered this after a very bad, heart rendering break up. Country music was like a soothing cream on a wound. Needed to be applied often, but eventually healed the wound. I now still like country, but have gone back to listening to rock and pop.

Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" would be my favorite and probably the best,it relates it anybody at anypoint in there lives missing someone,ive seen it played for every occasion even funerals and i recommend it more then anything
