How long have you been taking them? What are the effects of taking them for 10 years or more?

I've been on the pill for 5 years... my gyno said there aren't negative long term effects. Beats wanting to die from horrible cramps.

I've been taking Birth Control pills for 14 years. The only side effect that I had was that I had gall stones and had to have my gall bladder removed. This does run in my family, but mostly in females over 40. I was 17. Other than that I have had no problems whatsoever with taking Birth Control for such a long period of time. :)

I take it for about 1 year.
Than I stopped coz I found it not suits me after all we are taking harmones.
Best is barier method as condom
