does anyone else despise work and feel like they don't have enough free time? i sure do, but other people i know just take it in stride, it doesn't seem to bother them at all. is that all life is, just work work work... and more work?

don't get me wrong, i don't like those people that whine whine whine at work. they annoy me. i do a great job because i believe if you're going to do something you may as well do it right, but that doesn't mean i enjoy being there for hours. you can be good at something and still hate it ;)

Despise is too strong a word - I get too ground down to have enough energy to despise it.The thing that kills me is that I still do a really good job - and am rewarded with even more to do. I am too dependable.
I don't know how my parents did this for so many years. It's making me feel old before my time. I think the industrial revolution really shorted us all after all. There needs to be more to life than this.

No I love being called in just before supper after I already worked 9 hours today. Being a tech I can get called in almost anytime 24/7 think of me as a doctor getting paid the office tech salary. Ok fine the pay is great I can admit it but not as good as a docs pay.

Personally I'd rather BE working.
I've been on disability forever, and my doctor has informed me I've got another year or two of physical and mental recovery to go before I even have a chance to go back to a career I loved.

Yep I work 2 fulltime jobs. So I am not only lacking on time but sleep as well. But I am greedy so I will keep on truckin'.

Maybe it is time for you to change jobs. When my employees start complaining I let them know that McDonalds or Taco Bell down the street is hiring and to please don't let the door hit you on the way out. That pretty much shuts them up. It is all about the Benjamins baby and some of them don't deserve to get the pay they are getting.

I dont have to work, but when I do it for fun, well ,i do it for fun. its nice to get out of the house and meet new people. Helping out the comunity is nice, too.

im not sick of working.. wat im sick of is waking up @ 6:30 when i still wana sleep.. that sucks!!!
my work is fine, i wont survive if i dnt have work & besides im grateful 2 God 4 having a less stress, less worry kind of job..
there r so many unemployed ppl all over d world...
