No. pewter is an alloy of tin and lead, neither of which are precious metals.

Pewter is shiny and easy to craft, it was therefore used in times past to make silverware for people who couldn't afford silver! Unfortunately it also resulted in lead posioning.

Since pewter has been used for a long time, some pewter items can have value as antiques.
