Have you ever heard Stevie Ray Vaughn or Kenny Wayne Sheppard play or sing blues? If not(which obviously you haven't, hence the question). They are only 2 of what has to be many white people that can and do! Blues music isn't about what color you are, it's more of an outlet to tell a story. Color, race, religion? No bearing whatsoever.

Yes they can and they do all the time. Stevie Ray Vaughn is one of the best to me. And this is coming from Prince! Music is the universal language and it should be color blind! So, Let's Go Crazy!

Just one of many examples: Bonnie Rait (pardon the possible misspelling). Although catagorized many ways Bonnie has the voice and soul of a Blues singer and musician. Sing from your heart...

Johny Lang sure can. My fav all time is Stevie Ray Vaughn, that man had some amazing songs, too bad he died so young. IMO he has one of the greatest voices ever.

Anyone can sing the blues if they got it in them and if they aren't caught up on how they look or what others think. Look at Janis Joplin and Joss Stone....I'm sure there are many more that I can't think of right now......Bob Dylan......um...The Blues Brothers!
