LOL you love blacks because they are so blah blah,
that is also a stereotype :D Some black people (african americans) are good, some bad, some ugly, some pretty etc etc. How can a whole of people be lumped into one catagory, its rediculous.
I feel your pain because I am a muslim and I'm not too popular in the world right now :D yet, I dont care.
At least my religion doesn't allow for intolerance (not that I'm saying everyone elses does), the first man who ever gave the athan (call to prayer) was an former slave named Bilal ( Allah be pleased with him) who is abssinian I believe :). THis was over 1400 years ago...
Racism is disgusting and a sin in Islam, if anyone muslim has racist ideas towards the black people or says anything about them they need to ask ALlah to forgive them for that grave sin, and to take the poison of racism from their hearts.
I can only really speak for muslims, but I'm really sorry that you and everyone else have been descriminated against and worse, thats why we all need to stand up for those who are oppressed because you should have mercy on others, and you may be next...this is called justice.

I know there are a lot of racist people out there, but there are many many people that are not. None of my family or friends is racist. The only time I really hear racist comments is when I have overheard some stupid hick spouting off at the mouth, or what I have heard from others. When I hear those things, I let them know how I feel about their statements. They get a nice earful from me. My experiences with people who are minorities have always been pleasant. I can walk downtown of the major city I live near, and smile at all of the people who pass by. The white ones will often look away without smiling. The African Americans always smile and say hello. I walked into a fast food restaurant one day and smiled at an African American women as I walked in, and she said "have a blessed day." The same exact thing happened again later that day! Remember when you hear those idiots(racists) spew their crap, they are the ones who are minorities.
Edit: Whomever gave my answer the thumbs down-are you on crack? Or did you just misunderstand what I was saying? How can you have a problem with my answer? I am stating that there are many people that are not racist in the world, and that some of the nicest people I have ever met were minorities! Unless you(thumbs-downer) are a racist!

What else can you do? Not allow people in my presence to act that way, let them know its wrong, and that every race has its bottom of the barrel.
What else can you say? Say that I am sorry for what people did 100 years ago, and that it can only get better the farther away we get from past.
What else can you teach? You know that question you answered in your letter, how it feels, you teach people how racism feels, and they wont want to ever make someone feel that way.
What else can you stereotype? Right now the middle east has you beat, our country right now is killing innocent people, because they look like the enemy, sound familiar?
what else can you hate us for? Only being stupid, just like every other race.
Its time for us all to enlighten ourselves to the future, the world is in trouble right now, its funny on 9/11 being black didnt matter, why did we start that back up again?
Good luck man, tried to answer a few of your questions, all my life I have always gotten along with black people, and hated that racism exists.
but im just a white beatch from cali what the hell do i know??:)

First off, your premise that all blacks are hated is just plain wrong. Secondly, "what else do you have to lose?" Just about everything that could bring you acceptance, success, and good citizenship if you maintain the attitude you exhibit here.
Now then, I do have a dislike (NOT hate) scale and it it goes as follows:
Blacks: Have my utmost respect. And I know many.
Afro-Americans: Leave me a bit suspicious. The rest of us find no need to flaunt our heritage. We are not German-Americans, Chinese-Americans, Arab-Americans, Uganda-Americans, etc. We are Americans, and most often d.... proud of it. But, suspicion is not hate, it simply means I must get to know the Afro-American for awhile in order to decide what kind of American he or she really is.
And then there is the "n" word kind, and just like the white trash I've met from time to time, I have no use for either. Please remember, I said "no use," I did not say "I hate."
My question to you might be: where do you fit on my scale? I can't judge you because I really don't know you.
Peace

Woah sorry man, that sucks for you.
Too bad you're spending all your time thinking about race.....you know that's pretty much the definition of RACIST, right? And I'm sorry to burst your little pity bubble, but you're not the only person who feels their race is persecuted.
You're right- blacks have it rougher than a lot of people in this country. And, I really am sorry that there are so many white racists. But if you think you're living in hell, then go try the Congo, or Iraq, or Siberia or something- find out what real suffering is.

Why is it always about racism with you guys? Sometimes it's not about racism but some of you insist that it is racism. You're also generalizing because not everyone hates black people and it's not fair to those who treat others equally. I also hate to say this but from my experience, a lot of you people reinforce the stereotype and in a lot of cases, are even more racist than whites.

You say "You" do these things. Well I don't do them.
Sadly people are always looking for someone to put down And not just in race, but also religion, income levels, obesity, disabled bodies, impaired minds/
It's bad when bullies can't empower themselves any other way than by demeaning others.
You care because you ARE. I also care. Don't numb your pain, feel it. And let it empower you not to get revenge, but to live by example of what you want for the next generation Your life is your witness and your way to justice.
Also , when you say "you", be aware that most of "us" are many races in the American melting pot. "We" are you !
Turn that anger at injustice into something positive as Dr. King, and Ed Bradley, Bazzelene Carter, Ross perot, and many other great people have.
I wish you a new light.

How dare you call every white, asian, and hispanic racist! There are a lot of good people walking the earth, as well as the people who are truly evil and racist.
I truly believe in karma, and what goes around comes around, and with an attitude like that, all you're going to attract is hate.

First of all the only person trying to hurt "you" is mabey white supremacy groups, but they have no real influence on society
and if you think that people are stereotyping "you" as black people than there in lies the problem, you are not black people, you are an individual. If you educate yourself and let go of your "Black identity" then you will find that people will accept you as a person no matter where you go or what you do, its not the color of your skin or the way you look that people really judge, its you and your personality. Sure, in the few seconds before you meet someone they will judge you based on stereotypes, there is no avoiding that, its human nature but if the stereotype doesn't fit you people will disregard it. You should care what other people say because they are your peers and you live with them, its up to you to filter out those who are "trying to hurt you".
I am caucasion and what I find annoying about any ethnicity, including my own, living in todays ethnicaly mixed society is that people hold on to their "roots" and they believe it is who they are, "im black and proud", "im asian" ! well that is fantastic but the fact of the matter is no one really cares except other people who are racist too. There is nothing wrong with discovering your roots, ie looking up your ancestry or celebrating tradition but there is no reason to bring it into public view. If you believe in god I think that is wonderful, but we dont need to show everyone else how much you do, faith and religion and cultural roots are part of all of us but they should be kept private between family not displayed for all the world to see. If you want to rid your self of stereo types than be sure that you don't fit into one.
I dont hate you nor do I hate or in the slightest dislike any race, but what I hate is when certain people act out those common stereo types like in your case (not you) but relating to what you are talking about. It bothers me when I see a black, asian, indian, latino or white person acting in a way that is offensive or over aggressive to the rest of society and if it is more common for any group of society whether they be of the same ethnic, religious or cultural backround to act in such a way than it is hard for the rest of society to ignore this. The past is done the future is wide open and the only real way for our society to become a real civillization is through opening our minds and education and most importantly letting go of the past.
