Of course you are crying - don't pregnant women cry at nearly everything?
Give yourself a few days to feel sad, and then look at all the wonderful things that having a boy in your life will bring you.
They are really wonderful too.
Best of luck.

this happened to a friend, both ultrasounds she had the tech said it was a boy, then a last minute 3rd ultrasound said girl.
I never know what I was having, I found out at birth I had a baby boy. My son kept his feet up right at his bum during both ultrasounds I had and no one could soo the sex. I was a little disapointed, but only that I didn't find out. I had the first boy on my side in nearly 25 years and now we are trying for a second baby, our son is almost 25 months old, we are hoping we will have a girl and end the outnumbering of boys on my hubby's side, his sister was the last girl nearly 21 years ago. My hubby and all of his family hope we have a girl, but in the end everyone will be just as happy if we have another little boy this time.
Be happy with what you get.

No, I haven't. But I was told I was having a boy and then later she said she wanted to make sure of it. I was worried then that it might be a girl because I was excited and had my mind set on a boy. I can imagine you feel sad. I think I would have been a little dissappointed.
But you are right, just be thankful he's healthy. That's the main thing. Once you start buying things for him you'll get all excited about it. Maybe next time around you'll get that girl.
Good luck!

sweetie, i know it's a bit disappointing-but you'll feel better when you look into your baby's eyes. i'm kinda in a similar situation. i have twin boys, and we thought one was a boy & the other was a girl. well they're both boys-no problem, i'm 25, we can have more. my husband was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and had to start chemotherapy right away. the chemo causes infertility, and we couldn't afford sperm banking. so we tried to concieve in the week we had before he started. didn't work. so we may never have our little girl-or any babies at all. good news is that i have heard from some ppl in the same situation whose fertility did eventually coma back! so, you may still get to have your girl. women are having babies older every day. and even if you don't, you are still blessed!! you just have to think that things could be so much worse!! good luck!

well if it took all that trouble to get pregnant in the first place, forget the sex, pray that its healthy! I will tell you that as soon as he comes out, you wouldnt ask for anything else, but are they positive its a boy? mistakes can be made, not to get your hopes up or anything.
