I realize that during the pre-election excitement this forum was used for a lot of name calling and derogatory statements, but that was, at least, somewhat fun. Now the category of "Politics" is just a vast wasteland. I, as a very, very liberal Democrat, would really like to read what other people believe in, or see to be answers to societal problems. (I have been known to change my mind on issues--even to split my vote.....) Don't spew out hate and rhetoric--Tell me what you believe, and back it up with facts!

It is almost impossible to find real questions in this category, because they are crowded out by the 9-11 conspiracy questions (at least 10 per day), questions from kids trying to get people to do their homework for them, and questions from trolls trying to elicit a reaction.
Very frustrating.
I will probably have some questions for you around March or possibly in June. I am conservative, and I want to see how the new senate and house members conduct themselves for awhile so that I will have something to ask about and discuss.
Many of them are new, and they may have some good ideas. I am hoping that they are not all going to toe some specific party line, and are capable of independent thought/voting.

There are usually 60% good questions, the other being clones or purposeful harassment of either individuals or political parties (though, if done right, bashing political parties can promote good discussion). Anyway, ask a question, and I'll work on one myself. Lets get back to the politics and get some good political discourse going
Also the rampant reporting has caused many on both sides to quell the political discussions, as they fear account suspension

I ask real questions and many times receive abuse violations for them or stupid stupid solutions. yet i think of countless it extremely is via the fact all and sundry is so annoyed that no person cares what each and each is questioning or feeling that this communicate board supplies them a place to expound their perspectives and lecture or reprimand or retaliate for the abuse won in daily existence, paintings etc. Politics is an exceedingly risky venture even between nicely recommended, nicely knowledgeable poly-sci varieties; and each and each has his/her very own interpretation of political eventualities. it extremely is extra like a "extreme college Debate communicate board" right here, so attempt to no longer get too disillusioned with us infants....

I can only speak for myself. Today I carefully chose questions that I thought really wanted the conservative view-point.
Tonight, I looked at which answers were chosen for best answers. It was insulting. In many cases, the asker chose answers which were obviously an uninformed parody of what we actually believe.
I can back it up. Look at my answers to Avery's questions.
It sort of makes you think you are wasting your time when people are not really interested in your perspective, even though they have asked for it.
The other issue is rabid reporting. Too many of the level 4 and up conservatives have had accounts deleted by false reporting.

Lady, if you want facts & logic, you've come to the wrong place. This has become a forum for venting. Many of the questions have nothing to do with politics. Some aren't even questions.
Why? I don't know. I don't even think it matters. It just is.

Your are too smart and the basis of the American public that likes to express their opinions are not.
This is practicality. You are debating against the masses of uneducated and unfortuanately I do believe it is the liberal side that has more of those that can actually think.

Participants lost interests in asking real, interesting, funny and exciting questions. Maybe, due to insults and harassments. Perhaps, they should come back for us to have fun!
