NOT normal whatsoever! Either her formula is disagreeable or her nipple does not have a big enough hole in it for her to draw any milk!
First check to see that she is actually getting any milk. Make sure you are cleaning her bottle and nipple. Call her pediatrician ASAP before she dehydrates or gets malnourished.
Cover all the options! Has the bottle set too long? Is the milk sour? Does she have gas and the discomfort wont allow her to consume more milk? Burp her often, fill the bottle with 4 oz of milk, allow her enough time to consume it. Feed her on demand rather than by schedule. She may not be hungry when you offer it, wait an hour and offer it again.
Try everything..........but this is absolutely not normal.

There could be a few reasons for this - try a different size of teat. The milk might not be coming through fast enough for her. Also, it may be that at 4 months she might be seeking something more filling than just milk. Persevere with trying out different teats tho as it's important that she keeps up her intake at this age. I don't suppose it's anything to so with the possible sourness etc as I expect you're preparing the same way as you've always done. Have you changed onto a different strength of formula? Might be tasting different enough to put her off. Try blending the 2 together for a bit and wean her on to a new taste gradually over a few days instead of changing in one go.
At the end of the day she won't refuse for too long as all she's doing is getting hungrier and she will need to feed, but I hope it doesn't go on too long for your own peace of mind.

Check to see if the nipple is not plugged up. Or maybe she needs a larger opening. It might be that she's not hungry just yet. Every 3 hours is the norm for babies to be fed, but not a hard rule. First child drank every 1 1/2 hour and the second one was over every 4 hours. Talk to your doc about this.If she's listless, then it's something to be concern about. Maybe a different shaped nipple? congrats and good luck!

Try a different nipple. Many brands offer the silicone (clear) in different styles. My kids didn't not like any of the brown nipples for some reason. I think those smell a bit like rubber anyway. Same thing with their nukkies, the spit out the brown ones.

I think that the milk is not enough for her. Try putting some baby cereal in her bottle w/ her milk. Guarantee she will sleep through the night.

I tend to agree with the nipple theory, although her nose may be stuffy too and she may not be breathing well through it. By the way that Gobbshute person is a jerk and should have been aborted by his mother for that comment. What kind of idiot are you?

it could be that her gums are hurting due to her teething... if it is, try bonjela or anbesol and try her again with her bottle, as these will numb her sore gums.i had this problem with two of my daughters and they are now 11 and 13, so dont worry . good luck!!
