This is MUCH more complicated than the others are saying. You need to check the reference I cited. Generally speaking the correct answer is:

(1000 years) * (146097 days/400 years) = 365242.5

which means either 365242 or 365243 days DEPENDING on the day you started the 1000 years.

Note that the reuslt will be different if you include early years from the first millenium (see the cite).
