Do they work? Do they have more pros or more cons? Do they increase crime or drug use? Do you think congress should provide federal funding for Needle Exchange Programs, as they promsied to do a decade ago, or should the government not help provide drug-users with fresh supplies?

they only work for those that use them. they provide a means to avoid disease. Crime and drug use are not influenced by needles nor an exchange program. criminals affect crime rate, drug use does not. addiction and the need to feed it may create criminals. Programs to prevent disease work Programs to prevent addiction and promote a good life without drug use is lacking.

They have one in Canada and its a popular program.I'm not a drug user,but I think it's important for these people to use clean needles.I think it's a good program.

i totally agree with it, i think it's a great idea. helps stop disease, makes things safer. also, prohibition showed that prohibiting things just makes them more desirable. in places where marijuana is legal, they smoke less than in america.

drug addicts need help, not just to be locked up
