You are never to old to go to school! If you want to learn and become something, I say go for it!

You are never too old. You are going to be 40 anyway so you may as well be a 40 year old Dr. My pediatrician has a brother who went to medical school when he was 42. Now he is also a pediatrician. Age is just a number.

Everybody is missing the real problem. There are so many prospective doctors and only so many vacancies in Med School.
Why should they invest in you when there is someone else with the same qualifications who is 10 years younger and will obviously have a longer career?
Not being rude, but I went through pretty much the same thing, even talking with a pre-med councilor

I am older than you and connot start for a few more years. The intention of learning is for learnings sake. We are never too "old" as a matter of fact older student tend to better in there school worka nd score higher on average. Good luck DOCTOR!
