Because they are...
There are a lot fewer legal problems when they use actors over 18. And I'm not even talking about nudity and sex and stuff... minors cannot work as many hours legally, and the producers have to provide a tutor on set for a certain amount of hours. They get a lot more for their money if they use someone over 18.

because most kids in high school look like they are college juniors these days have you been to a high school lately and looked at some of these kids god i would hate to see them when they are 40 . good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

cause most were. its hard to find good actors just the right age.. all though i think most were around the right age for "breakfest club"
you ever watched "Saved by the bell"?
by the time it was over Dustin Diamond (screch) was only like 15.

because they are! lol, just like all tv shows with people in high school have no one under the age of 21 acting in it...
