The only thing that will get rid of your tan is time, but you can speed up the process. Simply get yourself a good body scrub - sea salt or sugar scrub is best. Some exfoiliation mitts - they're only a few dollars, and some lemon essence from a health food shop. Alternatively you can squeeze your own lemon juice but it won't be as concerntrated. Lemon juice lightens pigmentation and your skin in general so be careful. Simply mix some lemon juice into the scrub and use the mits to thoughougly exfoiliate all over. This will lighten your skin a little and also encourage new skin cells in your natural tone to replace the older dark ones.

Well, you could stay away from the sun, which is bad for your skin anyway. So that shouldn't be too hard, if wearing sunscreen. If I may add, it's not a good idea to wear foundation that whiter than your skin tone -- it just doesn't work. Good luck!

You want white skin?? Umm... Maybe just staying indoors in front of a computer and it's glowing screen will make you whiter.

Wear sunscreen year-round. Celebrities like Rose McGowan does this, and she has a flawless white complexion. Most sunscreens have moisturizing agents too, so apply a little under your make-up as a base. Foolproof.

My sister is asian, and she worries about this all the time. She stays out of the sun all the time (hard to do in Cali) and its worked a little, but I bet if you wore hats, stayed out of the sun a lot, AND wore sun screen (she hates putting it on) you would be about two-three shades lighter.
