I'm cooking a huge feast. I have worked the past 3 Thanksgivings, so, this year I am really excited to have my family back at my house.

Cooking. My Family is small, instead of a massive Turkey I plan to do;

Filet Minion w/Tobacco Onions
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Asparagus with fresh hollandaise
Fresh Steamed Brocolii w/a light cheddar sauce.

Desert:

A deep chocolate cake rolled around freshly whipped coconut cream, frozen, then drizzled in dutch chocolate and topped with toasted coconut.

or.......

Cherry/almond pie, a yummy cherry filling with just a hint of almonds on an all butter crust, topped with freshly whipped cream and slivered, toasted, brandied almonds.

Appropriate beverages

I'm doing both actually. I made meatballs and homemade rolls, two pumpkin pies, two apple pies, a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake already and tomorrow I'm making cranberry salad, dill dip, caramel apple dip, then Turkey day, I'm making sweet potato souffle, a vege tray, homemade banana pudding and another fruit salad. I guess you could say I'm cooking and taking it to my aunt's house where I will eat with 30 other family members. Sound like fun? I'm sure it will be.
