What do you mean by "the world"? If you mean the just the Earth, a totally insignificant planet in the universe, what difference does it make? The rest of the universe will get along fine without us, and in fact never notice our passing. Why should it? We're nothing.

Besides, by the time the planet is destroyed by the sun in its red giant phase, or by novae/flares before that, we'll have been long gone, along with our clocks and calendars. The "dates" these things happen will have no meaning, because nothing that measures such things will be around.

If you mean the entire universe, the question makes no sense, since "time" is relative. Even if something cataclysmic is happening somewhere in the universe "now", our locale won't be affected by it for eons. For this reason there is no instantaneous "date" on which the universe will end - even if it does end, which is arguable.

If you mean the human race, our "end" could happen in a number of ways. We could destroy ourselves via some sort of warfare, climate disaster, etc. Will it happen all in one day, over the course of years, or what? No way to know.

We could also continue evolving, as we are always doing. At some point we would no longer be what we now consider human. But that won't happen on an exact day and time, because evolution is a gradual process.

Come to think of it, there may not be a way to answer your question. An "end" may not occur as such, and in fact may only be a limitation of our languages and our minds when it comes to knowing what will happen next.

But, I could be wrong about everything!!

the world will end when God comes back and in the Bible, the Word of God, it says that there will be no signs whatsoever showing when God will come back. So, basically, NO ONE can predict when the world will end.

If they could articulate a understandable method for arriving at the prediction, and it worked, then yes.

Too bad the only way to test it is to die.
So, either the prediction is wrong (wrong date)
or it's unconfirmed...

In philosophy when you die the world ends for you - this world anyway.
But in the course of things the answer is still 42.

I don't think so. Many have tried and the dates have all passed.

You don't even get to know when your personal world will end. ; )

Only God knows the hour and time, but when he comes all who believe will know he has arrived. I often have dreams of the sign. It will be spectacular and there will be no denying or fear if you believe and are true to him.
