it's an easy problem...i know...but i just can't think of the answer right now....i will probly know the problem by heart tomorrow.

answer is 3s. any no. multiply by 1 is the no. itself.

Simplifying
3s * 1 = 0

Reorder the terms for easier multiplication:
3 * 1s = 0

Multiply 3 * 1
3s = 0

Solving
3s = 0

Solving for variable 's'.

Move all terms containing s to the left, all other terms to the right.

Divide each side by '3'.
s = 0

Simplifying
s = 0

any number that multiply by one is equal to itself. so 3s*1 will be 3s.
