You're on the right track, but a little confused or over simplified. Attorneys are not the government, we are ruled by military, corporations and politicians,(some of whom are attorneys). Keep investigating, you will learn much.

Um...no...look at what happens when we let the military have power and decision making authority...
We The Get Military Commisions Act that allows the military to do whatever they want without having to follow the guidelines of federal law...they can hold you indefinately without ever charging you with a crime and use torture techniques on you to get you to incriminate yourself...Our systems has kinks but letting the military call the shots isn't the answer...we need standards for applying the law not nutjobs making up rules as we go along!!!!

I'm afraid your question shows lack of understanding of the American governement. You should do a bit of research on the topic and then come back with a better question. Sorry I might've sounded a little mean, sorry.

What does this even mean? I do not see any track, unless you are calling for a governmental overthrow.
No, guys, the MCA does not let the military govern. Don't let them scare you. Don't become an enemy combatant, and you won't know the MCA exists.

No.
Your "proposal" it's extremely ignorant and senseless. And if I would think there would be any point in trying to explain you why, I would... but I know that it'd be futile.

I don't think they have it in them.
They caved in to Rumsfelds "my way or the highway" leadership style.
They let Rummy push them around.
They had their careers to think of.
Things are fine as they are.
And it is working they way it is supposed to barring occasional election fraud as occurred in FLA during 2000 elections,
