POLITE in tagalog is MAGALANG

mabaho ko = I am polite.
mabaho ka = You are polite.
Aking inay ay mabaho = My mother is polite.
Okay, okay, I'm lying. Mabaho really means "stinky."
When meeting someone of the opposite sex for the first time, it is customary to show respect by saying "pa halik." But if you are in church at the time, then you must use the formal phrasing, which is "Puedi ba bigyan mo ako isang halik."

Polite in tagalog means..... "magalang"..... but we are using few words to make your statement polite....you must add "po" "opo" (for those whom you believe much older than you are)... we use "ho" and oho" (for those people whom you think same age as you are)...... like for example you say "thank you"... you say: "salamat po"..............
Do not accept other words such as "mabaho"... it means it stinks..... they are bad!!!
Hope i have helped you......

To say polite I think you say magalang. Then you can say someone is cute you would say, "Ang cute mo talaga." or if you say hello you could say, "Hello, ok ka lang?" or if you wanna say, many thanks, you would say,"Maraming salamat po!" There you go. There are a lot more though.
